Warm sunshine and a gentle breeze provided the perfect weather for this year’s Athletics Meet, which was successfully held on 5 February at Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground.

It was yet another time for the athletes to exhibit their sportsmanship in both track and field events and the participants were cheered on by the four Houses that filled the stadium with a festive atmosphere. Some members of the Alumnae Association and parents took part in the invitation relay and parent-child race respectively to express unity and harmony.

The students’ sense of belonging was evident through the commitment of the S7 students, who ensured the smooth running of the event, despite being under the pressure of their Mock Exam, which were to take place the following week.

This year, all four Houses were rewarded for their efforts with House of Praise being crowned the cheering team champion for the second time in a row and House of Harmony winning the overall championship.

The occasion came to a close with the presentation of prizes by our guest-of-honor, Mrs. Ina Li, chairperson of the PTA, who encouraged the students to go for gold.
