The first few months at a new school may be overwhelming for some but not for our next batch of S1 students. To prepare them for a new stage in their lives, the 2008 cohort of S1 students attended a two-week Summer Bridging Course in July to be better prepared for a successful and enjoyable secondary school life.

Native speakers from ‘English for Asia’ were invited to provide lessons that covered various topics from classroom language to grammar revision. The sessions were centred around communicative activities that allowed students to build their confidence in using English. Past students also gave sessions on effective study approaches to the new S1 students. The two-week experience gave students a taste of what lies ahead for them.
