| 2008 has been a special year for the Canossian Daughters of Charity as it is the 200th anniversary of the foundation of the Canossian Institute. To celebrate this joyous occasion, different activities were held to enable students to appreciate their role as Daughters of Charity. |
|
During the Foundress Week, our Principal, teachers and schoolmates inspired us with stories of Saint Magdalene's life and the contributions of the Institute of the Daughters of Charity (FDCC). An exhibition was also held during that time to inform students of the Charism of the Missions around the globe. All these gave our students and teachers a chance to understand more about our Foundress and the way in which Canossian Spirituality worked on them. |

As part of our Foundress Day celebration on 8th May, the Ministries of Charity (Education, Evangelization and Pastoral care of the Sick) were introduced while two of our alumnae, Rebecca Chan and Michelle Chow, talked about their school days and the experiences of how Canossian values helped them with their lives. Our teachers too shared their views on Canossian Education and how it has inspired them in their roles as educators. It was an enlightening occasion for all students. |

Around thirty Holy Familians, including students, teachers and alumnae had the honour of attending the bicentennial Mass held in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Together with members from the FDCC family, we celebrated the great event in God¡¦s presence and offered our gratitude to everyone who served the Canossian Missions. |
