17 October was a day of blessings and gratitude to our S.3 girls to celebrate the Thanksgiving Mass and the Memorial Day of St. Ignatius of Antioch. St Ignatius was the successor of Peter to administer the church of Antioch and was sent to Rome under escort, bitten by wild animals and died for justice honorably.

In the homily, Fr. Lam, the assistant priest of Holy Cross Parish reminded us to treasure the chance that we could now gather openly and seek the blessing from the Lord. In the time of St Ignatius, however, many Catholics were persecuted because of their strong faith in God.

In response to our school theme, Aim for the Top, Achieve Your Best ¡V Excelling in Work, Fr. Lam encouraged our S.3 girls to start from small deeds in our daily lives like being a self-motivated student at school and a self-disciplined daughter at home.
